Secrets behind success of Bill Gates

Posted by admin May - 30 - 2010 - Sunday ADD COMMENTS

I was reading a book on Bill Gates, titled THE PATH TO THE FUTURE, by Jonathan Gatlin few days back. The book is absolutely inspiring and provides the key reasons behind the success of the most richest man on Earth.
Bill Gates has been able to foresee the massive rise of Personal computers and also the expected internet explosion.
He also comes out as a humble and realistic guy, when he says that the competition will always be there , and you just cannot sit on high market share for long.
He is said to have a very good memory and seems to remember all important things in life including financial numbers. This is the key quality you would see in any successful manager around you, and the better it is in highly successful managers, including most of the Chief Executive Officers.
Hard work for Bill Gates started at his age of 13, when he started putting his efforts into micro software coding.
He is also conscious about controlling expectations. He prefers under-promising and over delivering, like most of the successful people do.
There are indeed many more interesting reasons behind the stupendous success of Bill Gates, quite a few of which even you and me can follow. Just get a copy of the book from the bookshop nearby and read through.

“Top Kill” attempt has failed, says BP

Posted by admin May - 30 - 2010 - Sunday ADD COMMENTS

The British Petroleum company has been putting in lot of efforts in the last five weeks to plug the leaking oil pipe on the sea bed in the Gulf of Mexico. And after getting enormous pressure from Obama administration, the company went in for a costly “Top Kill” method of pumping in heavy mud into the leaking pipe over the last three days. The company used two high pressure pumps for the job.
Now, the company is confirming that the effort has been declared a failure, as the oil leakage continues at the same level.
The level of oil leak is over 5000 barrels of oil per day, and this could well be the worst oil spill in the history of US. This in turn could put extreme pressure for Obama to further additional controls on future oil exploration projects in US.
Nothing seems to be going good for Obama in the last few months, and his popularity rating is already down to near 50% last month. And the oil spill could well pull it below 50%, as per experts.
The oil spill is now expected to go on till August, by when the relief wells come into operation. How far they would success, God only knows.

Tamim Takes the attack to England

A stirring century from Tamim Iqbal on day four at Lord’s was the highlight as Bangladesh batted brilliantly to give themselves a chance of avoiding defeat following six losses in six Tests against England.

Tamim hit an eye-catching 103 from 100 ballst, but Imrul Kayes (75) and Junaid Sidique (66 not out) were no bit-part players.

Bangladesh, invited to follow on 223 runs behind when their first innings ended on 282 within the first hour, ended the day 105 ahead on 328-5.

The absence of a fifth bowler in easy batting conditions was, not for the first time, sorely felt by England’s attack.

Does this work?

That is the question you should ask before popping the pill down your throat in your quest to become slimmer. Not all the fat burners work. And, before using well advertised products such as hydroxycut, it would do you a world of good to get consumer feedback on the same. Just because something is advertised, does not mean that it is well worth it.

Own goals Help England Beat Japan

Posted by admin May - 30 - 2010 - Sunday ADD COMMENTS

Two own goals gave England an unconvincing win over Japan in their final warm-up game before flying to South Africa for the World Cup.

England started sloppily and were punished after six minutes when Marcus Tulio Tanaka met Yasuhito Endo’s corner and crashed the ball past David James.

Frank Lampard had a penalty saved before England levelled when Tanaka headed Joe Cole’s cross in his own net.

And England stole the win when Yuji Nakazawa turned Ashley Cole’s ball in.

England boss Fabio Capello will trim his squad from the provisional 30 to a 23-man World Cup party on Tuesday and after the match the Italian revealed he had made his mind up who would be selected – but would not share the information.

Getting into a slim shape is all about burning the fat and burning it fast. For this to happen, you need to use the best fat burner that is there. How do you identify this? That is where the consumer feedback is very helpful. It helps you to find the right kind of fat burner which is safe also. Only then one can use it without any side effects.

Lewis Hamilton led a McLaren one-two after an extraordinary clash between Red Bull’s Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel at the Turkish Grand Prix.

The incident happened on lap 40 of 58 when Vettel flew off the track after colliding with Webber in an attempt to take the lead from his team-mate.

Hamilton’s team-mate Jenson Button briefly passed him on lap 50 only for Hamilton to repass at the next corner.

Webber finished third while Mercedes’s Michael Schumacher was fourth.

The German’s team-mate Nico Rosberg finished fifth to cap off a good weekend for Ross Brawn’s team.

BA Says it operated More flights

Posted by admin May - 30 - 2010 - Sunday ADD COMMENTS

British Airways has said it operated more flights than planned as cabin crew began a second five-day strike.

The airline said it had reintroduced all flights from Heathrow to New York’s JFK airport and would add more.

It insisted its operations went “very well” during last week’s action and that it had made another “good start”.

The Unite union claimed BA cancelled more than 100 flights on Sunday and said its strikes continued to be strongly supported.

Unite has said it would suspend industrial action if BA restored travel perks it took from those cabin crew who went on strike in March.

Buying Used RVS

While buying used goods, one has to be careful. While one can buy them real cheap, one can also get cheated in the process. For example, while buying the used rvs for sale, one has to ensure that the sale is genuine. One has to ensure that the product is still looking and working well. Once this is established, there is no problem in buying the same.
