Google may actually not pull out of China, as it is entering into a second round of tough negotiations with the Chinese authorities. The negotiations are expected to happen over the next few days, and may eventually tread on a mutually face saving solution.
At the end of it, China needs Google, and equally important is the Chinese market for Google. So it would be good for the entire global internet users, if China and Google come to a mutually beneficial agreement.
