The US banks have been able to scrape through with massive government funding , and now they are going to enjoy billions of dollars of bonus payouts. And they are continuing with their customer and country damaging business practices.
It is indeed sad that Obama and his team are unable to address this issue, and are rather seen losing inordinate time in making the banks stop the bad practices. Now Obama and team are expected to announce a token taxation of the bank profits, which may be nothing but an endorsement of the bad practices of the banks.
So expect another major banking crisis in the coming year or next year.
