The year 2009 has ended on a wonderful note for most of the US employers, as the employee productivity on an average went up by a massive 6.2% in the last quarter.
The increase in productivity was primarily due to the exploitation of the uncertain economic environment by the employers. Companies have been able to make employees work better and for extra time without adding work force. The workforce addition is expected to start in the next one or two months, once there is some scope for stability of the US economy.
In the meanwhile, if there are any major bomb shells from any other part of the world, then the hiring might be delayed further.
