Haiti was blooming with normal activity one week back, but the unexpected 7.1 grade earthquake five days back has turned over almost the entire country. The earthquake was powerful enough to destroy over eighty thousand buildings spread across ten kilometer radius, and over two lac people are found to be missing.
Over fifty thousand bodies have been recovered so far and still 70% of the debris is not cleared. The US is pushing ahead with record aid support worth nearly half a billion dollars and is rushing over eight thousand marines and troops to help out the country in this hour of despair.
