Pakistan hit by floods, over 1500 lives lost

The floods which are caused by the monsoon have killed some 1,300 people and left many people homeless. As many as thousand homes were being destroyed leaving some one million Pakistani’s homeless. Many people are suffering from different diseases like fever,diarrhea and some waterborne diseases. The forecast still reports more rains in the northwest parts of Pakistan in the coming days.

The rains have increased the water level increase in many dams and barrages around the country. More floods from the riverside,and the landslides are going to cause more floods expects the government. The government officials have asked some help to rescue from the floods from some international countries. The relief capacity of the federal government is struggling to get sources to fight the Islamic insurgency.

The report was given by the agency from the Pakistani and the United Nations Officials. Immediate relief as much is provided by the government to the flood affected people of the country. The floods have even caused damage to 90 high ways and many through fares were closed for traffic.
