When children do not perform good in studies, they are very scared to come and tell their results to parents, for fear of punishment and scolding from parents. Some children feel very low when their parents reprimand them. The parents expect their children to excel in every subject and co-curricular activities. When they do not excel, then they start scolding them and comparing them with their friends who have done well in their exams. Parents instead of chiding them, should make them understand their area of weakness and help them improve. They should be friendly with the kids that the kids can gear up courage to speak out their mind to their parents . They should instill confidence in their children and encourage them to perform only.
